Berlin Welcome Card

Jump to last reply

I was wondering if anyone had purchased the Berlin Welcome Card, which covers transportation within Berlin and offers some discounts on various museums, restaurants, and attractions. I am having trouble calculating whether we should buy one. We will be there for 7 days and 6 nights and plan 1 trip to Potsdam. One can buy a 5-day card which covers ABC (Potsdam) for Euro 34.90. We expect to use the transit system several times a day, but are wondering if we should simply purchase a 7-day pas for 26.20 and not worry about the discounts. The 5-day limit kind of screws with our planning, since we'll have to purchase strategically in order to reap the discounts (which, frankly, are not that enticing).

I was also wondering if it was possible to pick up either the 7-day transit pass or the Welcome Card right at Berlin Tegel when we arrive.
