Berlin Wall concert celebration Nov 9
 

I wonder if anyone can help me. A few months ago I thought that I saw something on a concert to be held at Brandenburg Gate on November 9th to celebrate the Berlin Wall coming down. However, now that I need that information, I can't find it anywhere. I have found information on other events this year and in Oct and Nov, but nothing on a concert. Did I imagine that I saw that? Any info or links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The evening celebration on November 9, the Festival of Freedom, will be a finale to various other events. The festivities begin with a concert, followed by knocking over 2 km of large "dominos" (symbolizing the fall of the wall); dominos were made by German school children. I also have read that a concert was planned at the Alexanderplatz instead of at the Pariser Platz (Brandenburger gate) but now I can't find that info either. I am guessing that it has cancelled since the weather will be rainy and cold!
I'm planning to attend the domino & fireworks event on Nov 9, are you?

So I supposed the open air concert with the pianist Barenboim is still on at the Pariser plats, that should be a good event.
