Berlin Reichstag - Guided Tour vs. Self Audio Tour?
 

In reading the Bundestag / Reichstag website I could not determine what topics are covered in the 90 minute Guided Tour they offer. Trying to determine if I should just do the self-guided audio tour or 90 minute Guided Tour. Appreciate feedback from anyone who has done either of these tours at the Reichstag.

I normally don't like tours, but the guided tour I took in 2011 was excellent ( and free)
Plus, one can ask questions.
I highly recommend booking it . It is the second most visited attraction in Germany.

The security was rather tight...

Are you planning on doing any other guided tours/walking tours in Berlin? If so, I think the audio tour at the Reichstag will be all you need. We did a walking tour and then went to the Reichstag and used the audio tour provided. Be prepared for the security checks etc. as you enter.

Thanks for your replies. Yes, we will be taking the 4.5 hour Fat Tire Bike Tour as part of our stay. Curious if the Guided Tour is heavy on history of the Reichstag or more of a history of the German Parlamentary system etc...
