Berlin or Munich

I know there will be varying opinions, but I'm going to ask anyhow....if one could only go to Berlin or Munich (site, food, and beer), which is better if Prague is on a 10 day itinerary? Planning on open jaw flight leaving out of Boston.

Berlin is a huge city (good public transit) .
In some way, it is still " a work in progress" after the unification.
Several excleellent museums and galleries, great vibe , beautiful parks,
tons of history, easy day trip to Potsdam.

Munich is more compact. Several interesting museums and churches ,a lovely park and a huge Palace .
We made a trip to Dachau ( more day trips possible.)

Great beer everywhere .
We visited Munich once , Berlin six times.

I would vote for Berlin. Easy train connection to Prague and more of a contrast than Munich I think.

Berlin. You really can feel and see so much of recent (20th century) history there if you look for it.

Berlin by far for several days- to me one of the most fascinating cities in Europe - not for old-world looks but a place with so so many different kinds of sights.

Munich for just a day or two.

Yes Berlin a bit quicker by train from Prague and more scenic route =maybe stop-off in Dresden for a few-hour look - throw bags in station locker and see the Florence on the Elbe as it is called.

Gorgeous Saxon Switzerland - train slices thru - sit on east side of train for best views:
