Berlin museum question

I have it in my head that one of the major museums in Berlin is closed. I think it might be an Egyptian one starting with an A. Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks. Just want to make sure that as I complete my planning I eliminate places that aren't open so I have time for ones that are.

Were you thinking of this?

Altes Museum, Museumsinsel
The Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung (Egyptian Museum and Paypyrus Collection) closed its doors at its location in Charlottenburg and is now housed in the Altes Museum. The Egyptian Museum owns one of the world's most important collections of Ancient Egyptian Art. Through its pieces of art especially of the time of King Akhenaton (around 1340 BC) from Tell el Amarna the museum has reached world niveau and renown. Famous works such as the bust of Queen Nefertiti, the portrait of Queen Tiy and the famous "Berlin Green Head" belong to the collection.

Yes, I think that might be the one. Thanks.

Additionally, at the Pergamon the Market Gate of Miletus is currently being stabilized/rehabilitated, and is pretty much under wraps. The Gate of Ishtar/Processional Street was pretty amazing.

I also loved the Gemaldegallery - had to return as I ran out of time on my first visit a few days earlier.

There is plenty in Berlin to keep you busy, but I must say that the Historisches Green Vault, the New Green Vault and the Gallery of Old Masters at the Zwinger packed a pretty amazing punch in Dresden.

Don't miss the bust of Nefertiti (used to be in the Egyptian museum, now relocated to the Altes Museum - provided by WillTravel's link).

According to the web site Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, the museum that is currently closed (and will be until Spring 2008) is the Scharf-Gerstenberg Museum.
