Berlin: Best Area to Stay 4 nights in April 2024
 

I'm looking for recommendations on the best area to stay in Berlin. We will be arriving and leaving at Berlin Hauptbahnhof. I've stayed in Mitte at the Adina Apartment Hotel and may very well book that again but am wondering if anyone has any other suggestions. Last visit I didn't make it to Prenzlauerberg. Does anyone have any accommodation recommendations in that area?

I believe Mitte is generally the most central area, but we stayed in Prenzlauerberg at Hotel Oderberger, which I can highly recommend. It's right around the corner from Kastanienallee, which had so many amazing restaurants. The tram gets you to Hackescher Market area in Mitte in 5 minutes. If you're there on a Sunday, check out Mauerpark frea market! Also - one of the highlights of our trip was a private tour.
