Berlin Apartments

I've been looking on this website.
http://www.all-berlin-apartments.com/
Has anyone any recommendations? There will be 2 or maybe 3 of us. Middle of June. Looking at 500-600 euros for the week.

I am not sure whether anyone fully replied to this question. I am also looking for a short-term (10 day) apartment rental in Berlin next August for the IAAF track meet. Any ideas besides the all-berlin-apartments source?

We stayed in a great apt this past March . . . it was recommended by someone on TripAdvisor.com. It was in Prenzlauer Berg, formerly behind the wall. It was just 1/2 a block from a U-Bahn/S-bahn station, two grocery stores, and many good restaurants.

There is a website . . . http://www.privat-apartment-berlin.de

We rented apt 1 (there are 3) . . . 390 e. ($608.40) for 8 nights. The owner lives upstairs and responded promptly to email and any needs we had.

It wasn't fancy but it was clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, convenient to public transportation, and inexpensive.

Hope this helps,
Sandy (in Denton)

Hi Sandy: Thank you for this reference. The Prenzlauer Berg site is on the other side of the City compared to the stadium so not good for the track meet but may be a good base for sightseeing after the meet. Also the Trip Advisor site has other information I can use. I haven't tried finding an apartment in a foreign city online before, so wish me luck! Thanks again for your help.

I stayed here in May: http://www.vrbo.com/141420

The owner was a bit scattered, but everything was fine. The metro and bus and taxi stand are all a block or less away.

apartment was nice, large, quiet (too quiet for my tastes, but I am used to noise), has wifi + high-speed hook up.

Thanks, CB. This looks lovely. I did not know that Berlin had a VRBO system. I have used that in the USA. Thanks again -- Kathleen P.S. What does 'ttt' mean?
