Booked 2 nights at Hjelle Hotel

I really enjoyed Elveseter, but it has very small, sparely furnished rooms: more like a youth hostel than a hotel. That being said, the hotel's lounges etc are really special, you're right there in Jotunheimen and it's very convenient on the Sognfjell road.

Thanks menachem, that was the impression that I got about Elveseter after reading reviews and looking at more pictures. Roisheim looked a little more comfortable for aging bones!

By the way, the owner at Hjelle Hotel couldn't have been more friendly and professional in his emails. Looking forward to staying there. We booked a lovely room in the old part of the hotel with a balcony.
