Bergamo to Genoa via Milan

Hi there, I want to travel from Bergamo Airport to Genoa. Is it a bus/coach first into Milan? Then which station do I need to go to, so as to be able to travel to Genoa? The Trenitali timetable shows MI C.LE but with MI ROG in red underneath. What does this mean? Also what are GE P.P. and GE PP.S? Are these stations linked?

Hi Emva - Yes, airport bus first to Milano Centrale.
(Alternatively you can catch the local bus into Bergamo and catch a train to Milano Centrale from there)

GE P.P is Genova Piazza Principe - the main station.

(Stations marked in red are other stations in Milan and Genoa where the train stops)

Hope this helps ...

Bergamo airport is directly connected to Milano Centrale station (MI C.LE) by non-stop bus every 30-45 minutes during the day. Travel time will be around one hour depending on traffic conditions. All the trains bounding to Genoa will leave from Milano Centrale, Milano Rogoredo (MI ROG) is a smaller station serving the south eastern part of the city, you don't need to go there to catch your train.
Genoa main stations are Piazza Principe (GE P.P.) and Brignole: while all the trains will stop in Piazza Principe, only the ones going to the eastern part of the region (towards cinque Terre and Tuscany) will stop in Brignole. The westernbound train to Ventimiglia and France (Nice) will probably stop only in Piazza Principe or in GE P.P. and GE Sampierdarena (it depends on wich category of train you will travel). All stations in Genoa are linked by urban bus and railway.
Ciao.

Ciao! What does it mean if it says GEP.P. 17:42 and then (underneath) GE.PP.S 17:59. Thank you for your very good information and speedily delivered to. Grazie!

I have found out that GE PP.S is a station that was built underneath the Principal Piazze station. Soffterranea means Underground. Thanks for your help!
