Bellinzona or Schaffhausen?

After we visit Interlaken, we can't decide if we should next go to Bellinzona or Schaffhausen. Unfortunately we don't have time for both. We love food and walking around exploring. What do you recommend?

Thanks for your suggestions!

A vote for Schaffhausen. Nice place to walk around and the food was good. The people in Northern Switzerland seem more friendly to me than those in the South.

To me, Schaffausen is a cuter town with the Rhine right ther. Bellinzona is of course famous for its 3 castles (and a UNESCO heritage site), but less pretty.

Hi juju,

May I suggest Stein am Rhein?

Thanks for your responses, everyone! I've also asked my friends and only one person so far has pushed for Bellinzona.

Ira, I hadn't thought of Stein am Rhein, but now that I look at it, the more I feel the need to visit! Okay, looks like we're heading North.

You can easily catch a boat ride between Stein am Rhein & Schaffhausen.

Wow, I bet it's a beautiful boat ride. I'm adding it to the itinerary.
