Bellagio to Lucerne
 
We will be in Bellagio for four days in early May. Is it doable to plan a day trip to Lucerne?

It's probably a good 3-hour drive plus you would have to purchase a vignette to travel on the Highways which would cost an additional 40SFr. ((b))

The distance is approximately 140 miles each way.

A direct train from Lugano would take about 2 hrs 45 minutes.
