Belgian mosquitoes

Hi,
I know I am being paranoid, but I am demented from mosquitoes everytime I go away, whether it's Europe or America. I am going to Bruges shortly and am slightly worried that I will be afflicted there (as it's on canals). Could someone out there reassure me, or maybe recommend a product I could bring with me (I live in Europe)? Or is there some sort of supplement I could take in order to make my blood less attractive to these pests?!
As I say, I may sound a little paranoid but I don't think I could take another holiday of constant scratching!
Thanks,
Mary

Mary: We were in Bruges and all over Belgium in May. Nary a mosquito anywhere. Have a great trip.

There are no mosquitoes in May, but there are in August (evrywhere in Belgium except at the coast)! There are no more mosquitos in Brugge than in Brussels. They are very little , but they can keep you from sleeping. In every pharmacy you can find products. Have a good trip!
