Belfast serviced apartments nr Queens Uni
Does anyone know of serviced apartments near to Queens University (or easily accessible to the University). It's for 10 weeks starting in October.
Thanks in advance. |

Any Belfast readers or visitors out there that could advise on this? |
I don't know the Belfast rental market at all - but what I'd do is search for Belfast area estate agents (the British term for Realtor).
I just googled "belfast estate agent" and got tons of hits. |
Unless you're a student yourself be wary of where you rent in Belfast. The area around Queens has received a lot of very bad publicity lately because it seems to be solely occupied by students whose first glimpse of freedom away from their families goes straight to their heads and so they basically run riot at night.
(When I say riot I don't mean in the traditional Belfast sense, just the usual late night parties, rowdy groups coming home from nightclubs in the early hours and general student mayhem). Belfast is a small city with a good bus service. If you're going to be a lecturer or a member of staff in Queens you might wish to get away from the student population for a while in your leisure hours. Anyway, after all that preamble, try www.daft.ie and select Antrim from the drop down menu! |
Thanks Ter2000 that's very helpful, it's a sabbatical trip so a break from rowdy students would be very welcome!
