Belfast driving

I am planning a trip to Ireland and have heard that Dublin is a terrible city to drive in. I was wondering if that was also the case for Belfast?

to me either one is a snap to drive in compared to Continental cities.
Maybe someone will know more.

Well, it really is hard to see what the fuss is about in either city. For a bit, Dublin got tricky while it was being dug up. But even then, you had to be pretty unused to urban driving for it to make much odds. No fun, and for many tourists there's really no point in having a car anyway. But how does that differ from anywhere else worth visiting?

Anyone telling you Dublin's a terrible place to drive in is simply showing they've never driven outside one-horse towns in empty countries.

As far as Belfast is concerned, there's even less to get het up about. It's properly signposted (in English only), has well-disciplined lanes and is no more of a problem than Liverpool or Glasgow.

The traffic is worse in Dublin than in Belfast (but only just) other than that there is really no difference.

I live in Belfast but travel to Dublin frequently.
