Begur, Llafranc or Aiguablava - help me decide please!
I'll be coming back to the forum for other advice, but for now need to get hotels squared away.
Down to 3 choices for 6 days in Costa Brava in June after a week in BCN. Will have rental car. We want best location for easy in and out for day trips to Girona, Cadaques, etc., but also place for relaxation. Night life other than dinner not important. Don't want to feel isolated and prefer to be able to walk to dinner, have access to coastal paths, etc.
Hostelet de Begur has in-town location and nice pool area for relaxation, but no access to sea.
Hotel Eetu near Aiguablava has sea access and beautiful views, but not so close to town for walking to dinner.
Braumar Llafranc seems to tick all the boxes with nice pool area, access to sea and restaurants and walking distance (i think) to Caella and Llafranc, but further from Begur which sounds like such a lovely town. (but has a draconian cancellation policy)
For those of you who have actually been there or visit there often, what are your thoughts about these properties/locations? I have read ALL the reviews and now coming to the experts! Thanks so much for any input.
