Begur (Costa Brava) Villas

Jump to last reply

I am scoping out villas for a week in mid-July for 2 families (4 adults, 3 teens). We will have 2 cars. Based on comments here and T.A., I've honed in on Begur as a good base for the area. There are quite a few options. Some are in/around Begur. I've found one in a "nearby" small village that is intriguing but I don't know the pros/cons.

We might spend 1-2 days at the beach so being right on it isn't a big driver (as noted by my selections below). Comments requested.

Prices listed in GBP for common currency (the other family is British)

1) "Stone House" £1400

"Great views/looks cozy". No pool. No reviews.

2) "La Chumbera" £1700

nice big (communal) pool, looks cozy. No reviews.

3) "Stone Villa" £1950

this one is in a small village a little further out. Intriguing. Numerous great comments. Pool is tiny. Looks dark? Parking nearby in a public lot.

4) "Wonderful Villa" £2250
http://www.vrbo.com/824528ha
large, spacious, quiet, good comments, pool, top $$
Obviously, the first 2 are a little risky since there aren't any comments,
