Beer vs Wine in Paris? Help

I really don't have a taste for wine. Its not that I don't like it but I prefer beer. Is beer "looked down on" in Paris or is it just as acceptable wine in most restaurants. As I recall I drank some excellent beer in Switzerland last year that was made in France.

Relax, enjoy your trip. If you like beer--drink it. My husband and I just got back from Paris and he is not a winer lover, so he drank beer the entire time and no one made a fuss about it. Wine AND BEER are everywhere in Paris.

I imagine you will find lots of "euro-lagers," not unlike Bud but with a tad more character.

No, the French LIKE their beer although they produce precious few really good ones.

Climate = History = Whatcha Drink

Just be careful with your ponuncietion: Saying "Beer" in English just might get you a French aperitif of different spelling but same pronuncieation!

Heinekin is everywhere in Paris but pression beers are also popular in cafes - draft beer.

The French enjoy their beer. Cheers!
