Beer in Krakow

I am going to Krakow for a few days later this month. Can anyone give me some names of the best beers and what you would expect to pay away from the tourist traps.
Thanks

Zwyweic is ubiquitious in Krk and virtually everywhere we traveled last fall. It is quite good. Prices did not vary much in Krk or out and a 1/3 to 1/2 liter cost about 5-10 zloty
( about 2-3 U.S.). There are far fewer breweries in Poland than elsewhere. We had a superb amber beer in Krk but the name escapes me right now. I posted a Poland trip report recently which included Krk.

Poland has many breweries ... few in Krakow or not far from Krakow ...

best beers ... hmm hard question since there are so many types and individual tastes...
But to name few to start with: Zywiec, Carlsberg, Okocim, Lech, Tyskie, EB, Brok with long list that follows :-)

All Polish Beers are Best! They have body and spirit. Alcohol content ranges from zero to 9%. Body and alcohol content are posted on can or bottle. Pubs and restaurants sell 'tap' beers. Price range from 3 zlotych to 15 zlotych for 1/2 liter; $1 and up.
My choice is KIPER! The one with a bit of honey... 1/3 liter is on offer as well as 1/2 liter. Tap lines are cleaned regularly. Shop a super market...Buy a sampling of what is on offer. BUT only Polish beers.
