Beds in Paradors

Are the double beds in paradors the size of a double bed in the US or the size of two twin beds pushed together? Or does it vary from parador to parador?

Those in the Parador in Baiona, Galecia were "queen" size.

I forgot to mention that the paradors we will be staying at are Alarcon, Leon, Cangas de Onis, and Aiguablava. Thanks so much

We stayed in Leon. The bed was what I'd call a standard double. May vary from Parador to Parador and room to room--am not sure. DH is 6'2" and it was O.K. for us.

At Hostal de los Reyes Catolicos in Santiago de Compostela we had a room with two double beds: about 54" wide. I think they are called "Cama Matramonio."

Cama de Matrimonio is a bed 54in wide, or more, fit for a couple.
