Bed & Breakfast in Rome

We like staying at quaint clean places and are going to be in Rome next week 4/25. Does anyone have a suggestion of places to stay that are not expensive but have charm. It can be a B&B or hotel. We have no kids or pets.

Let me see:
clean
charm
quaint
not expensive
next week

That is a tall order. The best places book up months in advance. Try these & good luck !

Have a look at Romeby.com I don't know your budget but we liked the Pantheon View B and B which was charming and very well located.

Thank you for the tips. I know it is a tall order. Hopefully I will have luck on my side.

Type in your dates, then sort by price. Search here and on tripadvisor for reviews on places that are both available and look appealing to you.

No point in hearing about fabulous places that are fully booked!

Also, "not expensive" means very different things to different people. A specific price range is useful.

Although Bobthenavigator is spot on with his recommendation of Nicolas Inn, the fact that Trip Advisor rates it the Number 1 B&B in Rome means it's not likely to be available unless there's been a cancellation.

Ditto on Nicolas Inn being a good choice AND most likely being booked. However, it is possible that the helpful owners, Melissa & Francois, could suggest a B&B that is comparable, more or less, if they are full...

Also ditto on www.romeby.com. If I recall correctly, they will send info on what IS available if your choice is full.

Good luck. People sometimes double book (guilty as charged, while waiting for feedback from travel companions) and then cancel before the penalty deadline, so you can always luck-out!

I stayed at Gea di Vulcana, about 10 minutes walk from the Termini station on Via Nazionale. Nice hotel with breakfast and close to so many great things (Colosseum & Trevi within 30 minutes ) and great restaurant nearby, the Abruzesse yummm
