Bed and Breakfast in Rome

Has anyone stayed in any bed and breakfast in Rome. If so could you please review or make suggestions. Thanks.

Hi

If you click on "author" you can see answers to your previous post. If you are after some more recommendations it may be better to state your budget (in euros would be good). If you are on a tight budget try Alberto and Maria Hostel - http://www.mariahostel.com - near the Termini. Has private facilities plus the bonus of free use of their kitchen.

Hope this helps. Good luck to your daughter for her performance. Is this for music? Our daughter performed in Europe with her school orchestra in 1999. She played the Euphonium.

Ciao

Hi. Just received this recommendation from a friend who had nothing but excelent things to say about this B&B in rome. She said it was right by the Vatican with pristine rooms and your own bathroom. Also, the owner of the B&B makes breakfast in the morning for you.

Hi - Earlier this year we stayed at the Nicolas Inn and loved it. It's walkable from the train station and you can walk to most everything else except for the Vatican.

We especially enjoyed the hosts. She is an American and he an Italian. (if you go, be sure to ask her to tell you the story of how they met).

Also, there have been other posts on this same B&B. Do a search on Nicolas Inn and you are sure to find other helpful info.

Thanks for the replys. We were hoping to stay right around $100 US dollars if possible, as this is a spur of the moment opportunity. That's why I thought about the B&B.

Yes worldinabag, this is a high school music orchestra trip but I dont have any specifics yet where they will be performing/staying as this is in the very early planning stages. Still need school board approval, which should be no problem.

Spanish Steps - Try http://www.apartment-rome.com/files/bb_leone.html

Campo di Fiori - http://www.bandbinrome.com/BedandBre...podeifiori.htm

Piazza Navona - for 110E this is nice http://www.residenzasanpantaleo.com.

Hope this helps.

I second the Nicolas Inn. As already mentioned, good location, nice atmosphere, great breakfast and yes, Melissa and Francois are incredibly helpful. The little trattoria right next door is homey and the food is good.
I would stay there again in a minute (was there at the end of May).
