Bed and Breakfast and restaurant recommendations Milan and Torino

Our family of four will be traveling to Milan and Torino in late March. I am looking for recommendations for the nicest B&B in each city. We will need two rooms and our children are both teenagers. In Milan, we arrive via air and plan to attend an AC Milan soccer game. We will travel by train to Torino and will not have a car. We love to eat and would love any restaurant recommendations, as well. Thanks.

In April 2011, we spent several nights at the Hotel Victoria (not a B&B by definition, but breakfast was included). Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Comfortable beds, easy walk to several restaurants, welcoming staff, lovely lounge. Only negative: weak water pressure in the showers. http://www.hotelvictoria-torino.com/index_en.html

For restaurants, I have to look up where we ate, but we'll never forget the fabulous gelato we had at Cremeria Alice (also a cocktail bar) at Piazza Statuto, 9. We sat in the covered arcade (rather than inside the cremeria/restaurant itself) on a beautiful spring day and enjoyed the luscious gelato and fizzy cocktails.

I visited both cities last year, though didn't spend much time in Milan so no suggestions there. We did have some really nice meals in Torino, most notably at L'Acino and Antiche Sere. I would also suggest stopping for a bicerin, a deliciously chocolately coffee drink, at the cafe called Al Bicerin

Here's a link to my trip report to the area if of interest

We loved Torino, and hope you do, too!

We stayed at All' Orso Poeta in Turin for four nights:

There are two separate beautiful rooms, one with a balcony overlooking the Mole. The owner lives next door and comes in to serve breakfast. Highly recommended.

For great aperitivo suggestions:

I think we visited all of them.
