Frankfurt Airport--Will I have time to catch my connecting flight?

I'm flying Lufthansa from Washington, D.C. to Frankfurt, then on to St. Petersburg, Russia. The connecting flight leaves Frankfurt only about 1 1/2 hours after arrival from D. C. Both flights (arrival in Frankfurt and departure from Frankfurt) are in Terminal 1. Assuming that both flights are on time, will I have enough turn-around time to make the connecting flight? Thank you in advance.

Easy. No problem. Your luggage will be through-checked to St. Petersburg, so no need to clear customs or immigration in Frankfurt. Also, no security check as you are a transfer passenger.

NO you WON'T have to clear immigration in Frankfurt!

Last time I checked Russia wasn't a member of the EU...

Eastbound transatlantic flights generally arrive on time or early thanks to favourable tailwinds.

No you don't have to clear immigration/customs--I didn't on the way to Budapest last year.

You only clear immigration in Frankfurt if your final destination is a so-called "Schengen-country"
Schengen-countries are: Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Austria.

I just connected through Frankfurt and was extremely impressed with the efficiency and courtesy of the airport staff. You'll make it!
