Beautiful Hiking in the Swiss Alps?
 

Any suggestions for a beautiful area to hike in in the Swiss Alps?

Lauterbrunnen, very near Interlaken. It has gorgeous views of some incredible mountains. You can put your key words in the search at the top and find lots of other suggestions, too!

Oh my goodness, mary, there are so very many places to hike in the Swiss Alps, and they are all beautiful!

If you do a search in the Travel Talk section for hiking the Swiss Alps, or more specific regions such as Berner Oberland, you will get lots of responses.

My experience is mostly in the Grindelwald, Murren, Wengen and also Zermatt areas, and others will have differing responses. It just depends on what you are looking for: from rugged mountains to lake districts, flat, hilly, or cities to tiny villages - all different yet all Alps.

But yes, the areas are beautiful, for sure! Start practicing your yodeling!
