Beatiful place near Aix-en-Provence or not too far from St Paul de Vence
Hi all, We are planning on going with our family (3 kids and 2 adults) to Paris and the French countryside. We are thinking of going to the St Paul de Vence are for a few days and have 4 nights left.
We're looking for a beautiful place to stay either near Aix-en-Provence, but are open to other areas as well.
We've stayed in St Remy before and loved it, so we're looking to go to a new area.
Thanks so much!!

A few years ago my sister, niece, and I stayed at Villa Canto in Vence (http://www.cantogrihet.com/en/) and just loved it. Vence is close to St Paul de Vence and other cities like Antibes, but it feels like a real town, with shops and restaurants and schools that aren't overrun with tourists. We thought this B&B was fantastic -- the owner, Claude France, was so charming and helpful, and two of the bedrooms form a sort of suite with a shared large bathroom that was perfect for us. We also were happy to have breakfast in the gorgeous garden and be able to walk into town. Sounds like this might work for you!

Try Le Clos des Freres Gris, just outside of Aix. Lovely place and about a 10 minute drive into the city center. The owners, who are friends of ours for full disclosure, are great folks !
