Beaches in Split
Hello. My husband and I will be on a cruise next week. YEAH!! We will be in Split from 7-3. Does anyone have any suggestions for something fun to do? What beach is the closest to the port? We have tours planned in some of the ports so we wanted to stay away from the typical sight seeing tours. We are in our late 30's, very active and love adventures.

I don't think the beaches near Split will be worth your time. What are the cruise tour options? There is a lot close to Split, but you have time constraints when dealing with ferries, etc.
In Split, Diocletian's palace is amazing and it would be a shame to miss it. Just walking along the waterfront and exploring some of the old neighborhoods would be a nice way to spend the day. |

I'm living in Split and here is many beaches worth to visit but
many tourists doesn't know about them. You don't have so much time so my advice is Bacvice sandy beach which is only few minutes walk from port. After you can back to old town and Diocletian palace and have some lunch there or at Stelon resturant which is located at beach. |
I would take the bus to Trogir, a pretty town nearby. The bus station is near the boats, and there are frequent buses to and from Trogir. Have some coffee there, walk around, take some pictures. Lunch there or head back to Split for lunch and stroll around Diocletian's palace area.
