Bayreuth Wagner Festival
 

Has anyone been to hear/see the Ring cycle in Bayreuth? What was it like and how much did it cost.<BR><BR>I have searched for a website for the beyruth sfestival and only found one in German. Does andyone have the URL for an english language site? <BR><BR>Do they do the Ring cycle every year or will it only come up every so often?<BR><BR>Thanks<BR><BR>Dean<BR>

Unfortunately, this site does not have any info on next years festival or any future festivals. I know for they are planned out thru 2006 as that will be when a new ring cycle is going to be produced.

Dean, easiest thing is probably to contact the Tourist Board in Bayreuth.<BR>They should be able to give you the necessary information or at least tell you, where you can get hold of it.<BR>Good luck.

I think the waiting list for tickets in Bayreuth is unfortunately more than 5 years.
