Bavarian Alps Trip Report (part 2)
First of all thank you everyone who helped my wife and I plan this wonderful fall trip to Germany. This is part 2 of the 3 part series of our Europe trip to Bavaria and Austria. this one take us along the beautiful Alpine Road, Mittenwald, Zugspitze, Partnachklamm, and lake Eibsee...
I just loved every part of this section of the trip. Zac (our 2 year old) really just loved being out, running around, eating good food, and playing with rocks!
Let me know what you think!

I enjoyed watching both of your videos. The scenery is incredible. The Zugspitze looks like something we need to add to our bucket list. We are headed to Germany the end of July. Your videos are making us anxious to get there.

Thanks everyone for your comments! Logos999 thanks for your honesty, I enjoy hearing what people really think! Im sorry we dont share the same taste in music, however im impressed that you suffered through it long enough to see the video- thank you! Also the road shots and things that you said were done so many times before were done for a couple of reasons... 1st, I wanted to document our trip in a way that we can remember how we felt about our trip, as well as what activities we did. so I didn't really make the video to be original or anything. 2nd, I also made these shots because when searching and making our itinerary I kept coming along questions like "what is the road really like to drive on?" or " what is it like to take the tram from Eibsee?" and I couldn't think of a better way to answer that then to show it. Also I searched and couldn't find the visuals that you describe are so common... I hope I don't sound like I disapprove of your comment, I actually really appreciate it! Thanks again everyone!

Hi,Donny-
I love your video and the music is great too. I love how you started with your son talking in the background before the music came in. The video is so sweet and I was thinking to myself how lucky your boy is to have video like this to look at when he grows up. Great work!! I thought you documented the trip beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
"I kept coming along questions like "what is the road really like to drive on?"---I cannot believe how narrow the road is. How can it be two-lane? I am planning a trip there and this makes me wonder if we should drive at all. Is the Alpine road narrow and winding like this most of the time or what your video showed is exception? Care to comment?

LOL, are you American? Because that's the classic joke about American drivers...
"I can't believe how narrow the roads are"
The roads are o.k. If the road is 5 meters wide, two SUV's or BMWs which i.e. are 2.20 still have 60cm between them, but this is more like 6 meters. Perfectly normal.
Federal roads are wider.

Hi,logos999, indeed I live in the southern U.S. I am so used to driving on roads with wide shoulders. Believe or not, these Alpine roads do look pretty intimidating to me. LOL, I am spoiled and cannot help it.

Hi,
May I just say how beautiful part 1 and part 2 of your trip reports have been. Brings back memories of our first family holiday to mittenwald, Fussen, and Berchtesgaden back a again with our 2 year old son 2010. This year we return to same area, except our son is now 4 and we have a 2 year old daughter also!
I think the music is excellent, Snow Patrol is the Fussen section, but who is playing for then second section?
You have a lovely family and look forward to seeing the final part your trip report.
