Bath Hotels or B&B's

Hi.. we're looking for reasonable accommodations for two night s in the heart of the city. We'll be there April 12-14th. Can anyone recommend some places to stay. Would appreciate it.
thanks so much.

We stayed in serviced apartments for just 2 nights - the company was SACO, I think the website is www.saco.co.uk but could be wrong on the link. They have one property in Bath, Location was very central, and it was nice to have a separate living room / kitchen, apartment was hoovered / cleaned and linen changed daily. Probably not what you are looking for but I would recommend especially if you want an apartment either to cater for children or to cut down on costs re food.

"<i> . . reasonable accommodations . . .</i>"

What do you consider 'reasonable'? We need a budget before anyone can give useful suggestions.

reasonable would be about $150/night since I know things are expensive.

That is about £95 -- which is moderate-ish in central Bath.

Will you have a car? Many places in the city centre don't have parking. This one is a very good value and has parking and under your budget. http://www.cornerwaysbath.co.uk/

But w/o a car -- these two are great at or just over your budget

We really enjoyed staying last September at the Holly Villa. It's walking distance from the train station. Beautiful home, friendly owners and a wonderful breakfast. We paid about 85E a night.

jrjcollins: Didn't you pay more like £85 instead of €85?

jrjcolllins Jan 5th, 2011 08:13 PM

We paid 85 Euros.

Sorry, you're right, janisj. It was in pounds. I think I'm writing this too late at night. :-)

I'd recommend Villa Magdala in a quiet location yet very close to Pulteney Bridge and the city centre. Room rates double room 75 - 125 pounds

We decided on Three Abbey Green. Thanks so much for your help!
