Bath Hotels
Goingto Bath and Cotswolds first full week in March. Do any of you experienced UK travelers have suggestions for hotels in Bath and Cotswolds? Thanks.

Sorry, Just found the earlier link on Bath Hotels....Cotwolds? Stratford?

In Stratford, we enjoyed the Victoria Spa Lodge, a B&B about a half-mile out of town, in the countryside. Named after Queen Victoria herself, who allegedly stayed there during her last weeks as a princess. We walked into town along the Avon canal towpath, very scenic, and took a cab home after an evening at the theater.

Craig,<BR>In the Bath area, try Eagle House. A lovely B&B in Bathford, just outside center of Bath. We had a lovely view of Bath from our window. Great prices, nice rooms with your own bath and breakfast each day. Owners John and Rose Napier couldn't be more helpful! They are wonderful and we loved it there. Check out their website at www.eaglehouse.co.uk. Enjoy

I want to add my enthusiastic agreement to the previous post recommending Eagle House in Bathford. My family will return there again! The owners could not have been more helpful or hospitable, and the price was not bad at all! A bus runs into Bath every 20 minutes, if you don't want to drive in the city. And there are several pubs in the area. We ate at The Crown, recommended by the Napiers, and had a very nice meal, with lots of side dishes. Check out the website for more on them.

Definitely stay at a Bath hotel, as opposed to one with a bidet, as most Americans will try to take a bath in that and some get stuck, once causing an international incident.
