Bath hotel/accomodation recommendations please?

Hi friends,

We will likely end up going to Bath, given the time constraints.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a nice romantic hotel (4star, 5 star or equivalent B&B standard).

Some place that has a Spa treatment close by or in house, or something to pamper the lady will go a long way, as it is her Birthday.

Wi Fi is important as we need to get some work done online as well.

Thanks,
wonderfultravels!

We really, really liked Ston Easton Park. It's a real English country house, with lovely antique furnishings and the feel of being welcomed into the home of friends.

If you choose to stay at Ston Easton, I highly recommend the South East State Room. It's all done is light blues and white and is very feminine in feel. There was a Sheraton chair in one corner that I'd loved to have taken home with us!

Guests can visit the "downstairs" servants' area, and there is a billiard room.

You say 4 or 5 star so it sounds like cost isn't an issue . . . But just in case, what is your budget?

I would suggest buying a session at the "public" spa in the centre of town - I challenge any hotel spa to come even close to this place... http://www.thermaebathspa.com/
