Bath area
Will be traveling with two teenagers and plan to spend two nights in the Bath area. Suggestions for things to do and places to stay.

Hello Ruth,

What are your interests? I'd be happy to make some suggestions...

Ruth, I recommend Brock's guest house on Brock Street between the Circus and the Royal Crescent. Small and charming. My second recommendation is the Queensbury Hotel. Queensbury is perfectly appointed and has a popular restaurant. It is more expensive.

linda

Ruth: I traveled with three others to Bath two years ago. I was a teenager at the time. The Roman baths are amazing of course. I wouldn't waste your money on the history of clothing museum--especially if you have teenagers. The shopping was good, however. For yourself, you might enjoying eating at Sally Lunn's(sp?) restaurant. Famous and delious. The cutest little place too! Enjoy!

Just returned from Bath. Our two teenagers were bored stiff. Took the Guided Tour. Was a 2 hour walk around lecture on the architecture of the City. My husband and I were also bored after the first half dozen sites... and we're both well educated and "cultural" in nature. I believe the Walking Tour was free but there is a charge to actually "see" the Baths. This was the most disappointing day of our 18 day trip.
