Bateux mouches-dinner cruise

Anybody done it? Sounds interesting, but i don't want it to be formal (heard some boats have strict dress codes etc.), i am looking for something casual, laidback, that will let us enjoy Paris by night and ourselves.

thanks for any info

All the sightseeing boats, including Bateaux Mouches, do evening sightseeing trips every half hour. You can see the riverside sights lit up, then go to any restaurant for dinner.

Hi B,

I suggest taking a boat ride separate from having dinner.

The boat food is not as good as what you can on land for the same price or less.

What Ira said. Take the one hour boat trip just at sundown to see the lights begin to come on, take a bottle of wine with you to sip on. Then go somewhere nice for dinner for better food at a better price.

Agreed - meals on boats are always sub-par. do the cruise before or aftre dinner - depending on if you like eating very early or at a more usual hour.
