Bateaux Parisiens.
Following on from the discussions on the board about dinner cruises in Paris we have decided to take the one hour cruise and then eat afterwards. Would someone please tell me where the boat picks up and drops off (metro stop)? I have looked on their website but can't make it out. Any recommendations for good but cheap eats in this area ?

Thanks

Joanne

I know your talking about a different line but you can also take the Bateaux Mouches from Pont Alma on the Right Bank. They have boats leaving every 15 minutes or so depending on how busy it is. You can just walk up and buy a ticket! Afterward you can easily walk over to the Left and find a cozy restaurant around Rue Cler or the likes! Have fun!

There is also a Bateaux Parisienne boarding spot right by the Saint Michele RER stop. The boats seem to leave there on the hour and you buy your ticket as you board. Lots of restaurants in that area.

I personally prefer Les Vedettes du Pont-Neuf. Smaller boats, live commentary in French and English. The landing is just below the statue in the center of the Pont Neuf. Closest Metro stops arePont Neuf (Right Bank) or St. Michel (Left Bank). http://www.pontneuf.net/
