Basel or Mulhouse?

Hi

My brother would like to travel to Mulhouse, France to see the Schlumpf Collection. However, he seems to be confused about also visiting or even staying Basel.

It only seems logical to me to stay in Mulhouse since that is his destination, but he has that "I mught miss something" feeling about Basel.

Can anyone chime in on Basel, or the Basel vs. Mulhouse question?

Thanks,
Debbie

Basel has a lot more to offer compared to Mulhouse. It's an easy day trip from one city to the other so I recommend to stay in Basel - given that you are not on a tight budget. Basel is more expensive than Mulhouse, generally spoken.
