Base2stay in London?
Hi, I've been doing some research and found a nice looking hotel called "Base2Stay" in London. Has anyone stayed here? How is the location? Was it nice?
Traveling with two adults and a 9 year old. Thanks much! |
I like the location--close to two tube stop. Can't comment on the hotel although looks good from the website.

Are you talking about the Base2Stay hotel in Kensington? It does look good from the review sites.

Anyone else know something about Base2Stay in Kensington?

I, too, am considering base2stay for my upcoming trip. I checked tripadvisor, and 95% of the posters recommend it, with 93% rating it "excellent" or "good". That's the highest ratings of any hotel I have researched.

Oops! I just noticed that the OP is a year old. Still, maybe someone will find the info and tripadvisor link useful....

It may be a nice place -- but it is still in Earls Court!
You've got to be able to do better than that for the price IMO . . . . It does get good reviews and the property is obviously clean/modern/well run. But that Earls Court location would definitely put me off. |
I agree. I like being more central than that.
I booked the Strand Palace, my old standby. I've stayed there 4 times before and loved the location. I have also stayed in Marylebone, Knightsbridge, and near the Barbican Centre, but I liked The Strand the best. (Would also stay in Mayfair or Westminster, but can't afford it). |
