Myer,

It is strickly an apt. bldg. About 10 apts. most of which face an interior courtyard. Ask for something facing the courtyard instead of the street. It is 3 stories and has no elevator (although the staff brings your luggage up the 6 ft wide staircase). The restaurant takes up most of the ground floor so the apt.s are mostly on the 2nd & 3rd floors.

It's about a two minute walk to Old Town Square in one direction and a two minute walk to the Charles Bridge in the other direction.

Our apt. was VERY spacious. The living room/dining/kitchen area was about 25ft x 30 ft. The bedroom was about 20ft x 25 ft. The bathroom was about 15 ft x 12 ft, quite modern, and included a double sink, large bathtub w/ shower attachment (no curtain), and a washer/dryer. The kitchen was extremely modern, showcase quality.

There was no hair dryer, but the apt. had a universal voltage converter and adapter that could be moved to any outlet. They allowed us to borrow an iron (no board) one day.

I didn't notice AC, but wasn't looking. You might ask them.

The entrance to the apts is two doors down from the restaurant but the interior courtyard is also used by the restaurant in the summer I believe.

I just recently spent six days in Prague and it is absolutely beautiful. I visited Prague Castle and walked along Charles Bridge on several occasions. The city is very walkable and the food is very tasty. I was also fortunate enough to hop a train and spend one night in Vienna Austria, which is beautiful as well. It was my first time in Europe and I can't wait to go back....
