Barcelona to San Sebastian Question
 

Hi, I'm trying to finalize our Sept. trip to Northern Spain. I checked out Mappy and the distance between S'Agro (where we will be staying)and San Sebastian is over 400 miles. We thought of driving, but that's a long haul. We do not have time to spend a night in between.

Has any one flowen from Barcelona to Bilbao or taken the train. I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

It's a long train ride but there is an overnight train i believe between the two - save on a hotel and time

I've flown from Barcelona to San Sebastian, it is an hour or so flight

Thanks for the suggestions. I think we will fly. I didn’t realize that San Sebastian had an airport. I hope the plane is not too small. I checked Iberia and the cost for two people was $189.00. Does that sound right? Thanks again.

Yes, it's sounds OK for a flight to San Sebastian (they are a bit more expensive because San Sebastian airport is owned by Iberia and no other carrier works there ). You will find cheaper flights to Bilbao if you don't mind the distance :)

The San Sebastian airport is actually in Hondarribia on the French border.
