Barcelona to Positano
We are traveling to Spain in July and will be there for 8 days. Should we take a train to Positano? Can you take a train to Positano? Better to fly? Or are we getting to ambitious and should stick to Barcelona and surrounding areas? If so, would love some recommendations. Looking forward to our trip!

Positano is in Italy, you would have to travel all the way through France and then Italy to get down to Positano which could be a nightmare especially since you are only going for 8 days.
If you really would like to do Positano you could fly from Barcelona to Italy (Naples perhaps) and then take the train/bus down to Positano.
I would rather just stay in Spain. There are so many options, you could do a few days in Barcelona and then Valencia or go down to the South of Spain, Granada or Seville.
My first time in Spain I did Madrid for 3 days, with a day trip to Toledo, 4 days in Barcelona and then 3 days in Ibiza.
I am coming back in August to do Malaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada.
