Barcelona to Bordeaux - how?
I want to travel from Barcelona to Bordeaux on 13 September.
I can't find any cheap flights.
From SNCF I can find a train which leaves at 11.25 and arrives in Bordeaux at 21.30.
This is very late - I would prefer to arrive mid-late afternoon.
Any suggestions?

The earliest daytime connection on www.bahn.de is from Barcelona Sants at 0825, changing trains at Cerbère and Toulouse, to arrive in Bordeaux at 1836.
Alternatively, take the Talgo train from Barcelona (Estacion de Francia) at 0845 to Montpellier, then to Bordeaux, arriving at 1836. This is almost certainly a more expensive option.

Not much point in going all the way to Montpellier via Narbonne to go back to Toulouse, also via Narbonne !
