Barcelona to Athens in 25days, help with this travel intiniary

I am trying to figure out the best way to travel from Barcelona to Greece and still be able to spend some quality time in some other places. Its 3 travelers.

Here is the plan.

Barcelona 5 days
Ibizza 2days

Take the overninght ferry from Grimaldi lines to Rome.

Rome,Piza, Milan, Venece 5 days. (I need help here. Would it be best to rent a car to drive from Rome to these cities or just take the train.)

Take a boat from Venece to Athens (I still havent checked if such a line even exists)

Athens 5 days, beach 5 days and Macedonia 3days.

Thats my trip plan so far. Do you guys think this is too much traveling or am i going to be able to make this happend?

Do you particularly want to take multiple overnight ferries? The ferry to Greece will only go to Patras and you will have to get other transportation there.

No, you can't see Rome, Pisa, Milan, Venice in just 5 days. You would be spending all your time in train stations or on trains.

Several ferries run between Italy and Greece. I've only used Superfast, but they don't depart from Venice.

You should consider the budget airlines between Barcelona/Italy and Italy/Greece which will probably be much cheaper than an overnight ferry.

Also check Aegean Air.

Thank you, great links there. We will definetly consider flying from Barcelona to Italy, the flights are like 70euros.

As for the Italy to Greece, I would like to do the boat thing, because I just found out that the boats stop at Igumenica, and that is close to the Macedonian border.

Thanks again for your help

It only stops briefly to drop/pick up passengers. Depending on schedule, the stop may be in the middle of the night.

With the budget airlines, you have to watch their strict check-in schedules and luggage weights.
