Barcelona tips
 

Going to Barcelona for two weeks this June. Would love some suggestions for surrounding area day trips,favorite restaurants and things to do in town.

Too general. Read a good guidebook, then come back with specific questions.

We don't know if you are old, young, a gourmet, never think about food, love to club, go to bed at 9 etc.

Thanks..Read Nikki's trip report which was very helpful. I have read several guide books just fishing for random favorites of fellow travellers. The group of us are foodies, walkers, drinkers, no clubs, ages 35 to 57. I tend to be tireless in Europe so bed time is whenever. I would like to hear about any places that are not mentioned in the guidebooks. Special neighorhood tapas bars,restaurants anyone may have found by accident. Generally I arrive in a city and start making friends to find this info. I have gotten such great info here I thought I'd put it out there.

I just got back about 12 hours ago. I'll post a trip report in a few days. You'll love it.
