Barcelona Stay
 

I want to thank all those who recommended the Continental Hotel in Barcelona. I just got back and I loved that hotel. It really has charm and the staff is very helpful. It is very convenient also.

I've been to Spain many times, but never Barcelona. Where is the Continental Hotel, meaning do we need a taxi to get to the Ramblas area? Also, does the temperature compare to Madrid? <BR>Thanks, Paul

Paul, I was worried about getting to the hotel, but it is easy. Take the aeropuerto bus to Catalunya Plaza. You will get off the bus and face the Hard Rock cafe. There is the beginning of the Ramblas. Start down the Ramblas and the hotel is about 5 doors down the street on the left. You can get the turistica bus also from that plaza.
