Barcelona small hotels
 

i'm going to barcelona in early march with a few friends and am looking for a reasonable place to stay for a long weekend there. any suggestions? we're flying into barcelona, then on to the south of france.

Jim,we stayed at the Royal Hotel.It's on the Ramblas,good breakfast would retun.Enjoy.

we stared at Hotel Gothico,near the Cathedral in the Ramblas area. Great location! Rooms were quite nice and they were upgrading at the time. <BR>Margaret

Hi Jim, <BR>Check out Hotel Continental (hotelcontinental.com) on La Ramble. It's very cost and has very nice rooms -- some of which have balconies overlooking La Ramble. Can't beat that view, or that location. They charge around 12,5000 pesetas for Rambla-facing rooms, and much less (9,500 ptas, I think) for other rooms. Oops! I meant, of course, 12,500 ptas. The also have rooms for four people, which might be useful if you're traveling with friends -- helps spread the costs. <BR>Bobby

If you are looking for something really cheap we stayed at Hotel Call. It was in some of the guide books. It was only 5350 for a double with a bathroom. It is a good location, the people are nice, they let us leave our backpacks there when we went out after we had checked out. Close to La Ramblas.
