Barcelona, Seville and Granada hotel advice

I am traveling to Spain late September with a friend, and we are looking for clean, safe hotels in a good location, under $100/night for a double room. Does anyone have any hotel suggestions for Barcelona, Seville and Granada? Thanks!!

Hi

Seville: Try the Hotel Amadeus - http://www.sevilla5.com/hotels/seville.html in the gorgeous Barrio Santa Cruz area.

Granada: The Casa del Aljarife - http://www.granadainfo.com/most/english.htm is in the old Moorish quarter of Albaicin. Very atmospheric.

Barcelona: The Girona Hostal - http://www.hostalgirona.com - is in the Eixample area and looks a good deal. The Central Hostal - http://www.hostalcentralbarcelona.com is a nice choice. For a little more you can stay in the lovely Gothic Quarter at this cool hotel Banys Orientals - http://www.hotelbanysorientals.com

Cheers

Check the Bancotel website. Bet you can get some good hotels under 2 coupons (50 Euros each) for late September.

A year ago I stayed at the Hotel Navas in Granada, and loved the place. Small by efficient, great staff and central to everything. Only a short walk to the Plaza Bib Ramblas with night music and great open-air cafes. A short walk to the bus to the Alhambra and back. What a beautiful city, and get your Alhambra tickets on the internet, it saves a long wait in line.

In Barcelona, try Hostal Levante-- about 65 euro/night, in the Barri Gotic just off of La Rambla. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional.

Hosteria del Laurel in Seville was about 70 euro/night, if I remember correctly, and is very quaint, with a fantastic cafe!

Have fun!
