barcelona restaurants

I will be traveling with 4 teenage girls to barcelona for a week. Suggestions for restaurants with 4 - 14 years will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I will go back to the restaurant Misqueria when I return to Barcelona. It is excellent, almost on the beach, very busy, and a bit upscale. Dress business casual (OK to skip the tie) even for lunch. Seafood galore!

Later, around the back side of the restaurant, stroll the promenade with the locals. Enjoy a bench with the rolling surf. Send the kids off to splash in it. Repose, or splash yourself.

I returned from Barcelona about 11 hours ago. My kids are ages 11, 14 and 16. We had great success with restaurants, thanks to the recommendations made here. I'll post a trip report in a couple of days.

The Cerveseria Catalana, Carrer Mallorca 236.

Set Portes Passeig Isabel II 14.

Meals at both these restaurants are described in my trip report from February:

I strongly recommend trying the places in La Boqueria market. Good food; good prices; lots of atmosphere.

Our kids loved El Glop - great food, indoor patio, very reasonable, went there twice.

Also Los Caracoles - slightly touristy but very atmospheric, cool open kitchen many hidden private dining areas, try the arroz negro.
