Barcelona Museums 17/18 May Free!
Hi There, just a tip off for anyone in Barcelona this weekend. It's an open evening (saturday night 7pm-1am) for museums all over the city and an open day on the sunday.
that's 17th-18th May
Museums (to name a few):
Museu Maritim
Fundació Joan Miró
Museu Picasso
Macba
La Pedrera

I think this is a general European initiative on these dates....I know our local museums are open in France on those dates, (and also e.g in Austria, per a friend of mine).
I believe it is the same in most of Western Europe this weekend. And "that's a good thing...." Rouss

The best part, the Museums are not that crowded on the free days. There is a big mid morning rush, but those people dont linger like those who pay to get in on non free days. IMO- get there early, or after the late morn crowd goes to lunch.
