Any guidance on best hotels in Barcelona port or bay area with nice views?

I guess it all comes down to your budget. What are you willing to spend? There are a number of good options.

I assume you are taking a cruise. Many hotels are no more than 10 minutes from the port. Here is an expensive hotel with a view.

We just got back from Barcelona on Saturday and we stayed at the W Barcelona. It's right on the beach and overlooks the port and the sea. It's a very modern and trendy hotel with more of a Vegas/South Beach feel than what we experienced throughout the rest of Spain. But it has incredible views and was still pretty convenient to everything.

The Best Western "54" in Barceloneta has rooms with nice views over the old harbor/ pleasure port.
