Barcelona hotel near port
 

I'm looking for a cheap hotel to stay for one night before and after a 7 day cruise on the Norwegian Gem that begins May 4. Ideally, it would be very close to the port and less than $120 a night. Any suggestions?

Subway: Take line 3 from Sants Station until stop Parallel: from there 2 min. walking to the hotel.

I booked it on Venere and paid about 103€ per night. I was very happy with the hotel and it's about a 10 minute walk from the port. You'll probably need a taxi to get to your ship though.

Thanks - I did look on venere but unfortunately the hotels in my price range were booked for the nights I need. I was hoping to save a bit of money by staying w/in walking distance of the port, if that's possible.

The hotel I mentioned is easily walking distance to the port,but the port area at the bottom of Las Ramblas. I'm not sure exactly where the cruise ships dock. We did leave for a cruise years ago from BCN but I can't remember the location of the dock.

The port is a few minute cab drive from any spot on the Ramblas.

I'm booked at the Hotel Continental after reading a number of positive reviews on these forums. Thanks for all the advice!
