Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the hotel is completed booked on my dates: September 26 and 27.

Any other ideas?

I would also look at any hotel near the Placa Catalunya which is within easy IMO walking distance of the Gothic Quarter. Have you looked at sites such as Booking.com or Venere.com?
